Alison is sort-of friends of Gary and Miranda (Character). She and Chris were originally safety partners until 40 but Chris whisked Alison away to Paris and proposed to her where she said yes. During the second series, Alison becomes pregnant and they decide that Miranda should be godmother but when it is revealed that she will also be Alison's birthing partner, Miranda freaks out.

Physical appearance

Alison has long, wavy black hair that never seems to be particularly or specially styled and wide brown eyes. She often dresses in pink and, after giving birth and raising her son with Chris, always appears more tired and stressy.

Catchphrases

• "Said it at the same time!" "Said that at the same time!" - Chris and Alison are constantly saying what each-other is thinking.
• "My wet nosed cub." - in the first series, Miranda takes the mick out of a conversation the the couple has.
• "Booties! Little booties! To go with the vesties! Little vesties!" - they say this at their baby shower with a half-drunk Miranda responding "Winey! Little Winey!"
